WHY?
Another important reason why I am embarking on the endeavor of bringing Maze Park to life is to challenge and push myself to new heights. This project represents an opportunity to test and refine my design skills further. By taking on the responsibility of designing and managing every aspect of the park, I will be able to stretch my creative boundaries, problem-solving abilities, and project management capabilities. It will provide a real-world context for me to apply the knowledge and techniques I have acquired throughout my education and professional journey. I am excited to embrace the complexities and intricacies of such a project, as it will not only enhance my skills but also allow me to develop a deeper understanding of the design process and my own capabilities. MAZE PARK
As a child, I had a vivid imagination, and one of my most cherished ideas was the concept of Maze Park. The park would be a sprawling wonderland filled with intricate mazes, labyrinthine paths, and hidden surprises at every turn. I envisioned it as a place where children and adults alike could lose themselves in the joy of exploration, solving puzzles, and navigating through enchanting green spaces. Now, as an aspiring designer, I am determined to bring this childhood dream to life in Philadelphia.
To ensure the success of Maze Park, I am employing modern tools and technologies. One of the key steps in the process is finding the ideal location for the park. With the help of ArcGIS, a powerful geographic information system, I will conduct an extensive analysis of the city, considering factors such as available area and areas with a lack of parks. By examining spatial data and overlaying various layers, I will identify the most suitable sites for the park, taking into account accessibility, proximity to communities, and potential impact. This data-driven approach will help me make informed decisions and ensure that Maze Park becomes a beloved destination for residents and visitors alike, providing a unique and captivating experience in the heart of Philadelphia.
